The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) is an initiative of the Australian Government administered by Diabetes Australia. The NDSS delivers diabetes-related products at subsidised prices and provides information and support services to people with diabetes. Registration is free and open to all Australians diagnosed with diabetes.

The NDSS has Agents in all capital cities. NDSS Agents are your State and Territory diabetes organisations.  NDSS Agents manage the delivery of diabetes-related products and provide support services to people who are registered on the NDSS. More information can be found under NDSS Agents.

You can purchase subsidised products through NDSS Access Points. NDSS Access Points include your local pharmacy, health centre and hospital. You can purchase NDSS products, lodge your registration form, and receive advice on diabetes at NDSS Access Points. For more information or to find the NDSS Access Point closest to you, go to Access Points

You can also order NDSS products by calling 1300 136 588 or by faxing your order to your NDSS Agent. Some NDSS Agents have online ordering to make life just that little bit easier. Please refer to the website of your NDSS Agent

If you have an inquiry, which cannot be answered by your NDSS Agent, please contact Diabetes Australia's national NDSS office.

NDSS Annual Survey

During May and June 2013, Diabetes Australia is undertaking the annual survey of people registered on the NDSS. The survey is being conducted online and through telephone interviews by TNS Social Research.

The survey is not diabetes research, it is a customer satisfaction survey and Diabetes Australia will use the information from the survey to provide improved NDSS services for people with diabetes in the future.

Your opinion is highly valued and if you are contacted your participation would be greatly appreciated. All responses to the survey are confidential.
