Ten of the key Diabetes Information Sheets have been translated into ten languages for culturally and linguistically diverse communities with a high prevalence of diabetes. The translations were undertaken under a 2010/11 Strategic Development Project.

Translation Process
Translations were completed by professional NAATI accredited translators. To ensure the translations were of a high quality and used culturally appropriate language and imagery, the booklets were focus tested by member of the target communities pre and post translation. The fact sheets were reviewed by members of the target communities and bilingual health professionals where possible
